  1. Talk with my team who will be able to advise you on the beds and creams suitable for your skin type and level of tanning you want to achieve.
     

  2. Ensure your skin is in the best possible condition it can be - drink plenty of water, and use a vitamin boost  like the Tan Shots we stock which are packed with the vitamins and minerals your skin needs to work effectively.  
     

  3. Prepare your skin for tanning.  One of our range of tanning creams will prepare your skin to tan, maximising the UV rays to activate from the very first minute of the session, rather than the UV rays taking up to 2 minutes to penetrate the skin.  We stock three types of creams:-

    • Accelarators - these do what they say on the tin, speeding up the tanning process.

    • Bronzers - these contain a tanning stain so that your colour develops more quickly.

    • Tingle creams - these create a mild burning sensation on your skin that some people love and others can't stand!  They work by getting the blood to your skin which will increase its tanning capability.   
       

  4. When you get to the salon, have a session on the Flabelos machine - yes really!  
     

  5. Wear eye protection on the beds - you don't want UV damage to your eyes.
     

  6. Use the beds 3-4 times a week.  When you have reached the colour you want or you've come back from holiday with an amazing tan, make sure you don't lose it.  Just 1-2 times a week with a longer session will keep your tan glowing.
     

  7. Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise - we recommend AVON Skin So Soft which we stock.

                        Remember that it's much harder to get a tan than to maintain it!
